When Abby changed her status to "... will miss Kaihea very much," on facebook tonight, my heart grew heavy."

I immediately tried to think optimistically, not wanting to allow that a friend for whom I have tremendous appreciation, admiration and respect, was rapidly losing her ongoing battle with cancer.

In this beautiful and loving update to the community who cared so much about her, her partner said:

"If you pray, now is the time to pray not for a miracle but for a peaceful and painless end"

And so, I ask that if you pray, or offer energy, or take a moment of silence... would you take a moment for Kaihea?
